Location
The Taiga occurs mostly between 50 and 60 degrees north Latitude and found in places like the broad belt of Eurasia and North America as well as two thirds in siberia with the rest in Scandinavia, Alaska, and Canada. Mostly only found in the Northern Hemisphere because there is not enough land mass in the southern hemisphere to create a taiga climate. Taiga climate is one step down from the freezing tundra but is colder and more difficult to survive in than a temperate deciduous forest.
